Kimi insan toplulukları hak ihlallerine uğramış insanları devletleri ile kucaklarken, kimi insan toplulukları da akın akın zulümden, adaletsizlikten medeniyetlere doğru canları pahasına kaçmaya devam ediyor.

Yetişkinler yaşanılan umuda yolculuk sürecini, iltica sonrası durumu ve imkanları daha kolay kabullenebilseler de çocuklar için yaşananlar aynı anlama gelmiyor.

AST bu fırtınalı ve zor günlerde çocukların umudunu yeşertmek, yaşanılanlara rağmen hadiselerin pozitif yönlerine dikkatlerini çekmek ve farkındalıklarını arttırmak, kalemine ve kendine güvenenleri yeteneklerini sergileme noktasında teşvik etmek, başarılarının tescillenmesi ve gelecekte kariyerleri açısından referans olup, —kendi isimlerinin de geçeceği— Amazon’da kitap olarak yayınlanacak olan “Mülteci Çocuklardan Umut Hikayeleri” projesine imza atıyor ve siz yardımseverlerden destek bekliyor.

Projede katılımcı 2,000 mülteci çocuğa 50$-60$-70$ teşvik ödülleri verilecek.

Dereceye giren çocuklar ayrıca

• 2. Yarışmacı 300$
• 3. Yarışmacı 200$ ödül kazanacak.

Seçilen hikayelerden 100 kadarı 2 kitap olarak çocukların da ismi geçecek şekilde Amazon’da kitap olarak yayınlanması da planlanıyor…

Çok özel çalışmalara sürpriz ödüller verilmesi de planlanıyor.

2,000 mülteci çocuğa umut hikayeleri ve resimleri için 70$'er toplam 140,000$,

Amazon’da kitap olarak yayınlanabilmesi için yaklaşık 10,000$ gerekiyor.

Toplamda $150,000’lık bir katkıya ihtiyacımız var.

Yaşanılan süreç bu projeyle çocukların kalemiyle de olumlu yönleriyle kayıt altına alınmış olacak.

Bu kıymetli ve alanında ilk olan ve 51 kişinin gayret gösterdiği 5,000‘e yakın çocuğumuzun başvuracağını beklediğimiz çalışmamız sizlerin desteğini bekliyor.

Support 2,000 Refugee Children for Their Hope Stories

We are in a global interaction with the different effects and consequences of glocal challenges. While some societies with their governments embrace people who have been persecuted, many innocent people continue to flee from oppression and injustice at the cost of their lives towards democratic countries from dictatorships.

Although adults may more easily accept the journey to hope, the post-asylum situation and opportunities for children are not the same because of the events they have gone through.

With your support and generous donations, AST initiates the "Hope Stories from 2,000 Refugee Children," aiming to blossom the hope of refugee children in these hard and challenging times. And despite the incidents, draw their attention to the positive aspects of seeking asylum and raise their awareness. This also helps encourage those who believe in themselves and their writing to showcase their talents in a book. This will be available on Amazon by their names to record their success and a reference for their future careers.

In this project, incentive awards of $50-60-$70 will be given to each one of the 2,000 refugee children.

Also, the contest winners will earn the following awards:

• 1st place $500
• 2nd place $300
• 3rd place $200.

Almost 100 selected stories are planned to be published as two books on Amazon, with the children's names mentioned.

Special awards and prizes are also waiting for our kids based on their particular works.

The total cost of the project:

$140,000 to 2,000 refugee kids: $70 for each of the 2,000 refugee children for their hope stories, artworks, and videos.

Around $10,000 will be spent on publishing costs on Amazon.

$150,000 is the total cost of the project.

With this project, the journey of the refugee children will be recorded by its positive aspects and as a hope story.

This valuable and first-of-its-kind project, where 51 volunteers worked hard to create the details and are still working to find the funding, is expected to receive near 5,000 applications from all over the world and is waiting for your generous support.

Notwithstanding their dismissal from their jobs and expulsion from their homeland after the July 15 coup attempt, the refugee academics presently hold on to life in Greece with full aspiration to continue their academic studies. The refugee academics genuinely need computers to continue their research, write new articles and steer their scholarship/job applications. Your support is vital for the refugee academics so that they may hold on to life once again and sustain their research.
The entire donations collected during this campaign are to be used for the purchase of at least 20 laptop computers and their delivery to Pikigoinsep Foundation  in Athens.

MULTECI AKADEMISYENLER ICIN BILGISAYAR KAMPANYASI

15 Temmuz darbe girişiminden sonra işlerinden ve yurtlarından edilen, bugün Yunanistan'da hayata tekrar tutunmaya çalışan ve bir taraftan akademik çalışmalarına devam etmek isteyen bilim insanlarının ihtiyaç duyduğu en temel ihtiyaç ve eksiklik bilgisayardır. Mülteci akademisyenlerin araştırmalarına devam edebilmesi, makale yazımı ve burs/iş başvuruları için bilgisayara ciddi ihtiyaç bulunmaktadır. Mülteci akademisyenlerin hayata yeniden tutunabilmeleri, çalışmalarına devam edebilmeleri için sizlerin desteği hayati önem taşımaktadır.

Bu kampanyada toplanan bağışların tamamı, dizüstü bilgisayarların satın alınması ve Atina’da bulunan Pikigoinsep’e teslim edilmesi için kullanılacaktır (en az 20 adet bilgisayar satın alınması hedeflenmektedir).

As Advocates for Silenced Turkey (AST) we announce that “Freedom Truck” with banners highlighting the human rights violations in Turkey sets off to tour from New York towards the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, and Minnesota to raise awareness about human rights violations in Turkey.

As it is declared through the banners on the Freedom Truck, we demand the freedom of;
- incarcerated children in Turkish jails,
- Ahmet Altan, who has recently been rearrested, and of all political prisoners who are arbitrarily incarcerated in Turkish jails.

We heard you loud and clear here at AST, so we are organizing 2 more initiatives to raise and spread awareness about human rights violations in Turkey:

1.    On December 10th, Human Rights Day, we stand up for our rights and those of others. The absence of equality, justice, and freedom causes violence and prevents peace as we are seeing today in Turkey.  Human rights are relevant to all of us, every day and on this day in particular, we are going to hold a bigger and better rally in the center of Manhattan.  Our last vigil and peaceful protest (made possible by you!) was very successful. More than 500 people are expected to be in attendance on December 10th. By working together, we can have a bold voice for a great impact. Please show up and be a part of the protest in New York that day!

2. Visibility is fundamental to creating awareness about the ill-treatment of people, especially young children and babies in jail, in Turkey. AST will design and display an 8 second digital billboard advertisement for 4 weeks. This 14’ x 48’ billboard placement has the potential of reaching over 1.6 million viewers.
 

By working together to amplify the voices of the silenced, we can be sure these vital actions become a reality, but AST is in need of your help. Around $39,000-$41,000 of groundwork and supplies are necessary to get these crucial projects going. Here is the breakdown of anticipated expenses:

• Creation of 2-minute Video: $1,800 - $2,000
• Social Media Advertisements: $800 - $1,000

• 3 Large Banners: (8’x 8’): $3,600
• 8 Banners (5’x 5’): $1,000 - $1,250
• 50,000 Hand-out Flyers: $2,800 - $3,000
• Flyer distribution cost (5 people x $75/day): $375
• 500 posters (24’x 36’) design: $500 - $700    Print: $2,900 - $3,100
• Transportation: $500 - $700
• Municipality permit: $1,500 - $1,825
• 300 Balloons (36”) with helium gas $9/each:  $2,700
• Billboard Advertisement: $11,225 (design, production, and installation)
