Support Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda

I’ll be traveling to the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwanda as part of a cultural exchange program through Young Judaea Year Course in January. The Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, provides a safe, supportive environment for orphaned and vulnerable children, many of whom are still affected by the aftermath of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. It believes "Children need the love and support of a family to thrive. When a family isn’t stable, due to societal trauma or personal tragedy, a youth village can fill the gap."

Agahozo-Shalom’s mission: "Through healing, education, and love, the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village empowers orphaned and vulnerable Rwandan youth to build lives of dignity and contribute to a better world."

Your donation will directly support their educational programs, mental health services, and vocational training, empowering these resilient youth to build a brighter future.

A year later, we have made lifelong memories and connections, learned valuable lessons, and this experience has changed how we view the world.
