Sometime between the late hours of May 27th 2019, vandals broke into Showers of Blessings Christian Academy and wreaked $50,000 worth of havoc. They shattered the glass of impact windows of every classroom and to the Entrance doors of the buildings. Computers, projectors, desk and more were all destroyed in the process. Paint was dumped on the floors, there was some knocked out light fixtures, the cameras were all pulled from the walls and spray painted over. They also sprayed obscene language and gang profanity on the windows of the classrooms. They entered the bathrooms and broke the tops off the toilets. They trashed each classroom destroyed teacher files, student work and left Holes in the classroom walls, no supplies for our students to continue out the year or to have for the next upcoming school year. Showers of Blessings Christian Academy is a Christian base school that revives funding through private scholarships. kids who don’t qualify for funded are given an community based scholarship /free school. We have 136 students attending from Kindergarten to 10th grade .We are 501c3 non profit organization with a vision to help not hurt the community. We here to impact and empower our future youth.
