SAVE OUR ALANO CLUB!
Everyone of knows or is someone who has struggled with addiction.
With a liquor store, drug dealer or bar on every corner, it's quite difficult to beat addiction.
Where does one go to find healing, recovery, fellowship and renewed purpose when making the leap to be free from addiction?
The Alano Club of San Jose is an answer. It's a safe place to find AA, NA, OA and much more. Our members seek out new folk and help them in their decision to get sober. The Club provides literature for sale and the restaurant provides seating and good food.
We have had a hard time rebounding from the pandemic, as so many non profits and businesses. We are dangerously close to shutting the doors after 72 years of faithfully serving our community and need 60K to pull out.
It would be a shame if this life saving resource went away.
Won't you please help us stay open and continue the miracle of 12 step recovery in San Jose.

Dear Friends and Family,
It looks like we need to switch gears here in hopes of bringing excitement back to our cause ; but first, an update.
Our generous donors on this GoFundMe page have donated over
3K to help us pay outstanding debts.
Our events and other fundraising opportunities have added to your 3K to help keep our doors open.
Our CEO, Tony Baron and the Board of Directors have made smart, cost cutting changes that are making a big difference.
So, what's next?
Well we aren't out of debt yet, but after praying and searching out estimates, we are asking for help with replacing our parking lot.
As most of you know, the parking lot has been in bad shape for a very, very long time.
It will cost 90K to completely overhaul and repave our lot so please join us in praying for a miracle benefactor or two. As always, the contributions of many will do the job as well. 25K will provide a patch job.
Please specify either general fund or parking lot fund with your donation.
