It's time for the 2020 Cougar Challenge Giving Campaign to help raise funds to support our Albany High School Cougars and the families that grow here. We're kicking it off today on #givingtuesday and we'll be accepting donations until the end of the year so please share with family and friends. We know this year has been incredibly challenging as we move through this pandemic together. As we see the community pull together to rally around small businesses and restaurants that are struggling, we hope we can count on you to keep the PTSA going as well.
This year we're asking our AHS Cougar community to step up and join us by committing to a smaller pledge of just $25 per family to help keep our programming funds at the ready for when things pick up again and we are able to have in person activities, club meetings and celebrations. The PTSA provides support to teachers, students and parents by funding student club support, parent education events, student wellness activities, scholarships, teacher mini-grants and much more. Last year we were able to gift the seniors lawn signs, swag bags and class t-shirts instead of an in person celebration and we are planning for the class of 2021 as we speak. A portion of this fundraiser will go directly into helping the class of 2021 finish their AHS experience in style!
Each year the AHS PTSA uses various fundraising activities and events to help keep our program going so that we can offer financial support to the special requests of our school community. With many social events cancelled for the foreseeable future, our Cougar Challenge Giving Campaign will be very important this year to help us build up our budget. With every donation made here we can help make sure that programs continue to get our support and thrive at AHS. Please join us!
Our small town community reaches big goals when we work together and help each other out. If each Albany High family gives $25 we will exceed our goal of $15,000! Please give today!
Thank you for your support and go Cougars!
