We're reaching out to share a cause that is personal. Our good friend and former colleague, Jeff Schreiner, is courageously battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). To honor Jeff’s strength and show our support, we’ve decided to participate in a sprint triathlon. But this isn’t just about the race—it’s about making a difference.
We’re using this opportunity to raise funds for an incredible organization, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is dedicated to fighting childhood cancer. This charity not only funds critical research but also provides support to families impacted by pediatric cancer. Your support can make a real impact. By contributing to our fundraiser, you’ll join us in honoring Jeff’s fight while helping children and families facing their own battles against cancer.
When Jeff shared his diagnosis, he recalled a conversation with one of his doctors. The Doctor talked about the treatment plan and in vintage Jeff fashion, he reminded him that whatever the possible outcome was, Jeff was always an exception. This phrase resonated with us, and as we gathered a team for this triathlon, the name for the team became clear; 'The Exception.' It captures Jeff's personality, both personally and professionally.
