Alpha Phi Foundation

My name is Rhonda (Nickless) Kaiser. My brother, Richard Nickless, and I are deeply saddened to share that our mother recently passed away at the age of 95 from pleural effusion and congestive heart failure. She has been fighting the disease for many years. Heart conditions have tragically taken the lives of many in our family, making heart health a cause that is incredibly personal to us.

As an alumna of Alpha Phi Fraternity. I am committed to advancing women's lives through the Alpha Phi Foundation's transformative programs, life-changing grants, and inspiring scholarships. Alpha Phi Foundation has also been a champion of heart health research and education, a mission close to my heart.

In memory of our mother, and to honor the legacy of so many in my family who have faced heart disease. In lieu of flowers, we would like to support the Alpha Phi Foundation. Your generous gift will directly support groundbreaking research and education that empowers women to lead healthier lives and fuels vital efforts to improve heart health for generations to come.

The University of Michigan's Alpha Phi Foundation is raising money to benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. Last year our chapter raised $27,651 with the help of our family, friends, and community. This year we have set a goal of $32,000 to be raised and donated to the Alpha Phi Foundation to benefit women's heart health.
