Sweat for a Cause!
Resilience Fitness is super pumped to host this annual event, combining two great ideas into one amazing morning of Family, Fitness, Fun.
Whether you’re coming for the challenge or just looking to sweat for a good cause, we promise you’ll go home smiling and feeling good about yourself.
We chose to host these two events in October because the Head of the Charles happens in Boston every year during this month, and October is nationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The Couch to 2k Row obviously plays off of the idea of a Couch to 5k Run, and we have an unbelievable coach in Sabine St. Pierre, an ex-Division I rower, who coaches a rowing class every Sunday morning at Resilience helping people with their technique, efficiency, and of course increasing everyone’s aerobic capacity. Join her if you’d like to enhance your rowing game and prep yourself for your best 2,000m effort!
The Calories for Cancer portion of the morning is a workout that our coaches designed to allow everyone of any ability to participate and push themselves appropriately. The goal here is to dig deep, keeping in mind the battle that so many are currently facing, or have fought to overcome.
Here’s a preview of what we’re all in for!
We wish everyone who is battling cancer of any kind to Stay Strong and Be Resilient!
We are teaming up with the @AmericanBreastCancerFoundation to make sure everyone who needs a mammogram, gets one!
Approximately 231,840 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed this year, help these individuals survive by raising awareness about early detection!
Join us at Resilience Fitness on October 26th to help support the American Breast Cancer Foundation and save lives with the power of early detection!
