Support the American Italian Heritage Museum
The American Italian Heritage Museum & Cultural Center needs your help! Your donation will ensure that we grow and prosper in the years ahead. Our mission is to honor Italian immigrants, tell their stories, and recognize the contributions of Italian Americans. We are located in Albany, New York, but we also have hundreds of members throughout the US and the world!
Your donation will be used to fund our current priorities which include repairing the stucco on our main building, expanding our outreach to the community, and preserving our museum collection. We are an all-volunteer organization, so your entire donation amount we receive through GoFundMe will go to capital and program needs.
The center of our campus is our main building, built as a church by Italian immigrants in 1922 and in the stucco/mission style they knew best. We offer countless programs to members and visitors in Upstate New York and beyond, including:
> Cultural presentations on Italian and Italian American topics
> Italian language classes and screenings of Italian films
> Sales of Italian goods during the Easter and Christmas seasons
> An open-to-the-public thrift shop that serves the greater Albany community
> A 10-room heritage museum that preserves and displays a wealth of priceless Italian American artifacts – fine and folk art, photos, personal items, memorabilia, printed materials, etc. Visitors tell us we are “an undiscovered gem!”

Your generous donation can help ensure that we grow and prosper in the years ahead!
Thank you very much! / Grazie mille!
