ASIPS Fundraising is fundraising
Surgeons Helping Nepal Victims
ASIPS is an organization comprised of plastic surgeons who conduct humanitarian missions all around the world.
With the recent tragedy in Nepal, these surgeons feel compelled to help the people who have been devastated.
The surgeons, headed by Dr. Munish Batra and Dr. Bhupesh Vasisht, will be operating on people with facial fractures, hand injuries, burn injuries, loss of soft tissue and many other types of injuries.
They will be visiting the following hospitals:
1. Ganesh Man Singh Memorial Hospital: Jhiljhile, Jhapa District
2. Nagarik Community Hospital: There are many severe cases in the village of Helambu - it was hit hard.
The ASIPS mission to Nepal is in conjunction with Doctors Without Borders, an organization which provides medical care to people in nearly 70 countries worldwide; saving lives threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe.
Most of the medical professionals spend significant personal funds to conduct these missions.
This fundraising effort will help with medical supplies and many other mission needs that are critical in these types of tragedies.
