Join us in supporting Mr. Kim and his team as they embark on an incredible journey to benefit Gunsaulus Scholastic Academy!

Mr. Kim, an esteemed honorary member of Amigos De Gunsaulus and former Principal of Gunsaulus for 12 years, will be participating in the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) from July 21 to 28, 2024. Alongside his friends Aaron, Matt, James, Paul, Fred, and Jon, they will pedal through a challenging 500-mile route over 7 days, all to raise funds for our school.

Located in the heart of Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood, Gunsaulus Scholastic Academy is a beacon of educational excellence for students in grades PK-8. We are committed to fostering a community that supports our students academically and emotionally.

Our fundraising goal is $5,000, and your support is crucial in helping us achieve this milestone. Every donation, no matter the size, contributes significantly. For instance, a contribution of just 10¢ per mile adds up quickly and makes a meaningful impact.

All funds raised will directly benefit Amigos De Gunsaulus, a volunteer-driven organization that enhances educational programs at our school. Our main objective is to assist our Gunsaulus Families in sending our outstanding students to various Captone Field Trips. For many students, this unique learning opportunity marks their first experience of staying away from home—a memorable and transformative experience. Our goal is to ensure that all students can participate in these educational trips. Your support will enable them to engage in an unforgettable journey of learning, growth, and service.

ADG aims to raise $10,000 to support these Capstone experiences. We invite you to join us in reaching this goal! Hi, I'm Fernando, a co-principal of Gunsaulus Scholastic Academy, located on the south side of Chicago. From July 22 to 29th, I and my friends Aaron Wood, Matt Ver Steeg, James Leach, and Paul Kamp will participate in the famous Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (aka RAGBRAI), the "longest multi-day bicycle touring event in the world."

By participating in RAGBRAI we will bike for 7 days, covering a distance of 500 miles.

You can join me on this ride by helping me raise money for my school. Any donations are welcome. For example, a donation of only 10¢ per mile will help me meet my goal of raising $10,000 for my school.
