Animal Friends of Barbour County, Inc.

The mission of Animal Friends of Barbour County, Inc. is to rescue the stray and unwanted animals of Barbour County, West Virginia. We struggle each month with finances because we fight to save each animal that comes through our door.  We operate as a no-kill shelter that provides a haven on the way to a forever home for abused, neglected, and animals injured in accidents.  We decided to put a video together of some of our successes so that you can see exactly the types of stories that your money goes to. We set the goal of $57,500 so that we can raise the money for our vetting expenses for 2018.  Those expenses range anywhere from simple spays and neuters to life-saving surgeries for cats and dogs.
