Help Us Save Tuna From His Painful Condition
Join us to ensure Tuna receives the medical treatment he so desperately needs...
Tuna was found as a stray and brought to Golf Rose Animal Hospital. His coat was in bad shape – severely matted and over-grown. No one came for little Tuna, so we brought him to A.D.O.P.T. He started off a little nervous coming into the shelter, but quickly warmed up to us.
We noticed right away that his walking was abnormal. His back legs were always high-stepping and his balance was off. Despite his condition, Tuna loves to run around in the yards. He even gets the zoomies! We think Tuna is around 8 years old. He loves his bed, running around the shelter, sunbathing, and begging for any scraps of people food he can have. He is such a good boy, but we knew we had to look into what is going on with him physically.
During his vet visit, it became apparent that Tuna had pain in his neck and parts of his legs. The vet also suspects there is something affecting his cerebellum, which is responsible for balance and motor function. In order to figure out what is going on in that cute little head of his and to alleviate his pain, Tuna will need an MRI followed by a treatment plan. We were quoted a cost of $6,000-$8,000.
Help us help him. Please join us in ensuring Tuna receives the best medical treatment and aftercare possible.
