The unprecedented crisis of COVID-19 has caused many people in our community to need food assistance for the first time in their lives. Nearly 8.5% of Anne Arundel County residents, or 48,380 people—many of them children—experience food insecurity.  AACFB's mission is to fight hunger, ensuring that all those in need have access to food and basic necessities. Every fall, RE/MAX Executive renews its commitment to ending hunger in our community by participating in Harvest for the Hungry.

Please contribute--each dollar you donate buys 8 pounds of food for a family in need.

Hunger is all too prevalent in Anne Arundel County. In 2017, nearly 46,000 individuals, or 8% of the county's population were considered food insecure, according to to the website countyhealthrankings.org.

More information about Anne Arundel County Food Bank: The Anne Arundel County Food Bank (AACFB) is a free multipurpose agency that works to fight hunger ensuring that all those in need have access to food, nutritional supplements, baby food and pet food. Other purposes include promoting self-sufficiency providing basic necessities such as toiletries, school supplies, medical supplies, diapers (adult and children), and clothing. In addition the AACFB collects data on hunger and assists other non-profits that share our mission.

Tranquility Woods Addiction Treatment Center, located in Pasadena, Maryland, is organizing a go fund me campaign for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.
