The Tony Robbins Foundation

Hi everyone,

My name is Erik and I am running the Long Island Marathon on May 5th! This is my first marathon and I am working hard to conquer the grueling 26.2 miles. I know I can do it but it will be difficult. I am not the fastest or the best runner but I know I will finish the race.

Millions of people in America don't have enough food to eat or don't have access to healthy food. Imagine not being able to eat 3 meals a day? This is the harsh reality for 1 to 5 children. Why does this matter to me? Well I am an elementary school teacher and see it first hand. Many kids are relying on breakfast and lunch from the school to survive. I would like to raise some money for a great cause .

I researched fundraisers and found that the Tony Robbins Foundation works along with feeding America to help feed those who are struggling. I am a consumer of a lot of Tony Robbins content and he has a goal to feed 1 billion people by 2025. Want to join me in making a difference?

Unbreakable Threads, an organization, is partnering with Tony Robbins Foundation to empower youth between the ages of 4-14. Proceeds from the sale of empowering and inspirational children's apparel will be used to provide resources and support for these youth through programs such as the Global Youth Leadership Summit (GYLS) and to provide scholarships and other financial assistance to help youth access these programs. The organization will track and evaluate the partnership, and communicate the impact to the public, with the ultimate goal of giving youth the tools they need to build a better future for themselves.

In addition to the fundraising efforts through the sale of empowering and inspirational children's apparel, Unbreakable Threads also encourages individuals to contribute to our cause through time, experience, or expertise. Here's a possible action plan for this aspect of the foundation's mission:

1 Develop a volunteer program: Create a volunteer program that allows individuals to contribute their time, experience, or expertise to the foundation's mission of empowering children.

2 Recruit volunteers: Use social media, email marketing, and other channels to recruit volunteers and raise awareness about the volunteer program.

3 Match volunteers with opportunities: Match volunteers with opportunities that align with their skills, interests, and availability.

4 Provide training and support: Provide training and support to volunteers to help them succeed in their roles and make a meaningful impact.

5 Build a community: Encourage volunteers to connect with each other, share their experiences, and build a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to creating a brighter future for children.

6 Recognize and reward: Recognize and reward the contributions of volunteers, and share the impact of their work with the public.
