UPDATE - through your generosity, we raised $25,000 to fund our first two scholarships in Spring 2021! Due to a change in GoFundMe server operations, we had to create this new page. 

On March 25, 2022, the field at Cougar Stadium will officially be dedicated as Kevin E. Todd Field. Please help us raise the remaining $25,000 to fully fund the scholarship endowment by March 25th and help Coach Todd's legacy to live on forever through supporting students as they pursue higher education!

On September 23, 2020, the Apex community lost a legend. Kevin Todd was a beloved Apex High School teacher, coworker, and coach for 29 years. He led the Apex Cougars to state championships in Men’s Soccer (2005) and Women’s Soccer (2007). More important than his on-field accomplishments, Coach Todd’s kindness and humility left a lasting impact on his players, students, and faculty at Apex High School.

This Legacy Fund supports scholarships for two Apex student-athletes (one male, one female) each year. The scholarships go to students who demonstrate leadership and humility -- characteristics that Coach Todd embodied and sought to instill in his students and athletes.

In the wake of Coach Todd’s passing, we saw our community come together to remember and celebrate all that he means to our school, to Apex, and to the greater soccer community. This scholarship is an effort to continue his legacy.
