About Art Association of Oswego, Inc.
Formed with the purpose of furthering art appreciation and education, encouraging local artists, and providing cultural enrichment in the Oswego County and Central New York area, the Art Association of Oswego is committed to sponsoring art exhibitions, classes, workshops and seminars for children and adults. One Members Show is scheduled each year, a non-juried show which takes place in July. Other exhibits of local and regional works are shown throughout the year. The Art Association of Oswego was founded in October 1990. The City of Oswego graciously made available the former Quartermaster’s Building at Fort Ontario for a Civic Arts Center which houses both the Art Association and the Oswego Players. The Art Association of Oswego, Inc. is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization.
