Repair Asbury United Methodist Church
Asbury United Methodist Church has been a beloved fixture in Croton on Hudson since 1883, serving as a spiritual home, a gathering place, and a symbol of community. With active involvement in ministries around the world, Asbury even appears on the National Register of Historic Places, bolstering Croton's unique reputation as a town steeped in history. Unfortunately, our education building has recently experienced significant water damage and requires urgent roof repairs.
The impact of this damage extends beyond the physical building. Our classrooms, which have been particularly affected, cannot now be used for their intended purpose of children's ministry, youth group or community service; nor are they available to the community for use. Prior to the pandemic, the education wing housed a thriving preschool. If we can repair the classrooms, it will let the church reopen them to the community for rental, generating needed revenue to keep the church going.
We are reaching out to our community and beyond to help us restore this cherished landmark. Your generous donation will not only help us repair the roof but will ensure that our church remains a vibrant hub for worship, fellowship, and service for generations to come.
Let's work together to strengthen the history and community of Croton-on-Hudson by preserving this important landmark.
