Emergency Help For Homeless in Pierce County
The focus of this campaign is to raise funds to meet “Unmet Needs” of people who are homeless or on the verge of homelessness. AM will work collaboratively with the Homeless Coalition in this project. AM will make these funds available to selected other nonprofits to provide this assistance.
“Unmet Needs” are those essentials not covered by usual grants. These are things like: glasses, dental work, pet food or vet care, personal hygiene, wheel chairs or walkers, emergency alert devices, Rxs, etc. In my 30 years as Executive Director of AM I worked closely with other nonprofits and particularly with homeless persons. These needs are critical and essential.
In these very difficult times, it is necessary for us to do our best for one another. The health of our entire community is measured by how well we care for the most vulnerable. We have a rich history of stepping up in times of need. Please join my wife Sally and me in giving generously to this cause. We thank you and those who are on the front lines serving our neighbors in need.
