About Austin EMS Foundation
Austin EMS Foundation provides direct support to Austin-Travis County EMS Medics who need emergency relief, scholarships to community members and medics to further their EMS study, and reimbursement to medics for medication or other needs of people experiencing homelessness or economic hardship. Our emergency relief supports medics who have recently experienced trauma, illness, injury, or loss who can receive assistance to help pay medical bills, buy groceries, or help with unexpected expenses. Our scholarships support high school "explorers", UT's "Longhorn EMS" program, and our advanced paramedic degrees. Our medics routinely pay for prescriptions, clothing, food, and other basic needs for our patients and we offer them reimbursement to help take care of their community.
