Help our girls get to the Little League World Series
Congratulations to our 12U District 2 Champs, State of Ohio Champs, and now U.S. Central Region Softball Champions!!
Little League is such an important part of life in terms of developing our youth and building relationships within our community between teammates, classmates, friends, and neighbors. We do this by providing healthy activity for children using the ball field as a classroom to instill discipline, team work, sportsmanship and fair play, and to establish a set of values to guide them into adulthood.
This talented group of young women, all whom reside in Austintown, OH and attend Austintown Middle School, successfully won our Little League District 2 Championship. They then went on to capture the State of Ohio Championship! To assist the players and their families make the journey to the U.S. Central Region in Whitestown, IN, Austintown Community Baseball provided $600 to each player’s family for 6 nights of lodging.
Sadly the league cannot afford to duplicate that on this next and final level of competition, The Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, NC. Please help give these 12 young women’s families this once in a lifetime opportunity on their road to the Little League World Series.
