I am attempting to reach a very ambitious goal of $70,000 with the hope of bringing my 8th-grade class to New York City for an informational and once-in-a-lifetime trip. This trip would take place at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. The cost of airfare, lodging, food, transportation and all event tickets are included. The price for each student to attend the trip is $1,500.

The students are fundraising money for themselves in various ways, but they can still use it and will very much appreciate any support they can get from the community.

Here is an example of the itinerary for the first two days of the trip! Everything has already been planned out and budgeted for.

The 5th and 6th grade team is educating AXL about total solar eclipses in preparation for the April 2024 total solar eclipse! We have put together a Total Solar Eclipse Party Committee that is raising money to purchase children's books about solar eclipses that middle school scholars can read to elementary school scholars.
