Benedictine's Model UN program continues to run strong. Last spring, representing Ecuador and Bahamas, several students and both delegations received recognition for their outstanding performance. Our partnership with Northwestern Polytechnical University continues, and in May 2017 we will return to China with seven students from this year's delegation.
The program, as always, needs your help. As BUMUN alumni, you know the benefits of this program. A great team spirit, training in public speaking and negotiation, learning about global issues and varying perspectives, meeting people from all over the world, and being a leader as a result of your participation in one of the strongest Model UN programs in the world!
Last year, we relied on the former Head Delegates to fuel the motivation and inspiration to generate donations. And it worked! Our efforts last year brought in more than $4300 combined. And it was just barely enough to meet our students' needs. This year, we will have more students who need help in order to attend the conference, and costs continue to rise. Our students find it increasingly difficult to participate due to the costs.
Every dollar you donate will help, and we have several sponsors who will match every dollar we raise!
