Benjamin S Animal Sanctuary Inc

Hello! We are Benjamin's Animal Sanctuary - a rescue for all animals, domestic and wildlife, with a focus on animals with special needs. The idea of the sanctuary was born from the founder and my owner, Stephanie Grisham, after she resigned from the Trump Administration on January 6, 2021, and left DC for Kansas, never to look back. She brought me, Benjamin, with her when she moved across the country, and I was by her side as she reconnected with old friends and family, bought and remodeled her new home, wrote her book "I'll Take Your Questions Now," and rediscovered herself as a human being post-Trump world. She says I rescued her by allowing her to feel angry, sad, depressed, and finally free. I was just happy to get to snuggle all the time and get lots of treats!

The sanctuary is currently at max capacity due to space restrictions, so our very big goal is to find and purchase a large piece of land in order to expand for more animals and provide public spaces for various events and initiatives such as animal therapy, community events, a children's vegetable garden, a snack shack, personalized picnics, a stick library for the dogs, and eventually camping areas for our human supporters - with all proceeds going to the animals' care.
