Want to join me in making a difference? Bird Endowment is a nonprofit dedicated to saving the critically endangered Blue-throated Macaw from extinction. The Blue-throated Macaw is Critically Endangered with only an estimated 400 - 450 adult birds in the wild. Our main effort is our Nido Adoptivo nest box project in partnership with Asociacion Armonia on the Laney Rickman Reserve in Bolivia. To date, more than 100 Blue-throated Macaw chicks have fledged from the nest boxes, a truly significant number! Thanks to our nest box sponsors and passionate supporters, the Blue-throated Macaw is flying toward a brighter future!
