Black Mountain Swannanoa Hurricane Helene Relief Fund
Hurricane Helene hit the Town of Black Mountain and the Swannanoa Valley on September 26-27, 2024 with unprecedented rainfall and damaging winds that resulted in catastrophic flooding and destruction. Many homes and livelihoods in our community were destroyed, and many of our families are mourning the loss of loved ones. While our own first responders, officials, and volunteers, assisted by crews from all over the country, have worked tirelessly to restore services and meet our community's immediate needs, long-term recovery presents a much larger challenge. For that, we need a village.
The creation of the Black Mountain Hurricane Helene Relief Fund is the first rallying cry. Please become part of our extended village and help us raise the resources to provide long-term disaster recovery to our community. We thank you and we appreciate you.
Any questions about the Fund can be directed to the Black Mountain Swannanoa Chamber of Commerce.
