Everyone in Borrego Springs turns to the Borrego Ministers Association when they are down on their luck and out of options.
Now, the BMA needs our help!
The funds that help Borregans cope with unexpected bills, emergencies, and job opportunities are THE LOWEST IN 5 YEARS.
What would you do if your adult child passed away unexpectedly in the middle of moving you to a new home? How would you cope with a huge task that you are physically unable to do?
What if your friend was in this predicament and asked for your help? Could you do it?
And if it was 115 degrees in the shade? Would you do it?
I asked the BMA for help with this exact problem and TWENTY volunteers showed up. It was hard, hard work, but if they didn't do it, it wouldn't have gotten done.
Professionals don't usually want to come out here during the summer and would have charged hundreds of dollars.
BMA doesn't have that kind of money, so they recruited volunteers who gave up precious leisure time and sweated through several hours of labor.
In gratitude, I am offering to match donations you make to the Borrego Ministers Association. So, you can spend $5 and donate $10 to the BMA.
