Help The Boulder Elks Pool Keep Swimmers, Swimming.
The Boulder Elks Pool is asking for help from our extended swim family as we attempt to raise funds for much-needed pool covers, in an effort to keep our pool open throughout the year. Without covers, our pool usage is not only limited on particular days, but our natural gas bills become operationally prohibitive.
The Elks Pool has been a staple for families and friends for decades in North Boulder. And while many of you enjoy the summer version of our beloved pool, since 2019 the Elks have welcomed lap swimmers, Masters swim teams, and most importantly, thousands of youth swimmers into our sometimes warm waters.
The addition of pool covers and enhanced water chemistry equipment will save the Elks tens of thousands of dollars each year, while providing the most unique swimming experience in Boulder County throughout the winter months. These improvements will stabilize the pool financially by reducing heating costs by 40%, eliminating the seemingly endless back and forth each winter between staying open or closing.
Your donation to Boulder Elks Youth Services (a 501c-3 non-profit) is 100% tax-deductible for your business, as well as for individuals who itemize their tax returns.
The Elks Pool has given to the community in a variety of ways for decades. And while she might be a little rough around the edges, there is a lot of life still left in her. A life that will continue to provide health and happiness to Boulder and beyond for years and years to come.
In order to maximize our savings, we need to order these covers as soon as possible. They are custom cut to fit our pool specifically and require a two-week delivery window. So our fundraiser needs your attention and your donation within the next ten days if at all possible.
We would like to thank all of you in advance for your contribution and your consideration. Together, we can enhance and improve upon our existing facility and help to ensure the health, happiness and well being of ourselves and the next generation of swimmers!
