Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago

Hi! I am so excited to run my very first marathon! I am currently training for the 2024 Chicago marathon, and what's even more fitting is that I get to train in Chicago for the Summer. I wake up most mornings and get to run along lake Michigan, which has become the highlight of my Summer. I am also so lucky that I get to represent the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago for the upcoming race.

The Boys and Girls Club of Chicago provides a safe and supportive environment for young people to engage in educational and recreational activities, fostering personal growth and development. The organization offers various programs aimed at academic support, leadership development, and healthy lifestyle choices to empower youth and help them reach their full potential. Having volunteered for the organization for many years, I have witnessed the direct impact of BGCC, and I am super passionate about their mission and values.

Unite Hearts for a Cause... Valentines Day Sports Equipment Drive for the BGCC

We, the Students for Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, are raising money to give the children at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, Inc. (BGCC), an equal opportunity to find joy in the sports they play. Any donation will help make an impact. Everyone can find joy in an activity, whether it is soccer, tennis or any sport, and everyone deserves to play a sport they love. We want to give these children the same opportunities. It only takes one donation to make a child's day! Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

While considering your donation here are the estimated costs of some of the equipment this season...

$10-$15 would provide a soccer ball

$20-$25 would provide a basketball

$25-$30 would provide a tennis racquet

$50-$75 would provide sneakers or cleats

$75-$100 would provide a soccer goal

$100-$125 would provide a field hockey stick
