Help Ukrainians Find Strength in their Breath
Help Ukrainians find Strength in their Breath
The suffering Ukrainians endure is monumental. Traumas of war include grief, loss of loved ones, homes, jobs, way of life, and safety. Daily details of atrocities and attacks, with constant sirens cause chronic anxiety and fatigue. (Like 9/11 repeating for 2½ years)
Non-proft BreathLogic certified 6 Ukrainian psychologists with stress & trauma reducing breathing techniques in Cyprus in Sept 2022. They continue sharing online and in-person with thousands of Ukrainians.
WITH YOUR HELP: BreathLogic trainers can travel safely this November to Ukraine to empower 25 more trainers to reach many more thousands with the “Power of Breath techniques. (Give the Gift That Will Keep on Giving!)
With basic self-regulation skills of breath, Ukrainians can significantly improve mental health to find resiliency, hope, and strength to carry on. Trainers specifically reach groups of Children, Teens, Elders, Widows, Refugees, Wounded Soldiers, and Mothers Who’ve Lost Sons.
People are in dire need of psychological support. Master breath teachers Laurie and her husband, trauma psychologist Dr. George Ellis, have been sharing “The Power of Breath” to Ukrainian psychologists, military personnel, and regular citizens since before the war began. Now, The Institute of Mental Health in Ukraine has invited them to come live into the country.
~ Psychologist Elena: “I’ve shared these breathing techniques to 3000+ military.”
~Chaplain Oleksandr: “These practices are being taken to the front lines and are saving lives.”
Funds will cover:
• Room and Board for 5 days for 25 participants / 3 days for 5 participants
• Training facilities and supplies / Production & Printing of 25 training manuals
• Transportation within Ukraine for those who cannot afford it
• Stipends for Institute of Mental Health organizers & translators.
• BreathLogic trainers are fully donating their time but will be paid for discounted travel.
WE CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT LIFE IS LIKE IN UKRAINE. BUT TOGETHER WE CAN DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE LIVES!
