About Brooklyn Book Festival, Inc.

The Brooklyn Book Festival's mission is to celebrate reading, authors and published literature through free and low-cost programming that connects New York City and tri-state area readers with local, national and international authors, publishers and booksellers. To this end, the Festival develops original programs that are hip, smart, diverse and inclusive and collaborates to present free and low-cost programming including the annual Brooklyn Book Festival, Bookend Events and BKBF Children's Day. The festival presents challenging, engaging and thoughtful programming in the areas of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, graphic novels, youth and children.
