Hi, This is Tom.

Tom is a sweet, friendly, and affectionate cat who recently showed up at my daughter’s home seeking food and love. It didn’t take long for him to capture our hearts and become a cherished member of our family. Despite being around 3 years old, Tom has the energy, agility, and playfulness of a kitten, and his beautiful purr, which sometimes turns into a charming meowy purr, brings joy to everyone around him.

We’ve partnered with Cactus Cats as fosters to help prepare Tom for his forever home. Unfortunately, Tom has faced some health challenges, including recurring UTIs and other medical issues that have been costly for both the rescue organization and our family. To ensure Tom’s well-being and give him the best chance at a happy, healthy life, he needs an ultrasound. The least expensive estimate for this procedure is $550.

One of our rescued, Wally, who was wonderful mother to her 2 new kittens, recently developed progressive paralysis and before passing away, dragged herself back to her take care of her two kittens. We had 2 ER visits to try and save her, which unfortunately were very expensive. And are now taking care of her two new kittens.

The life of a rescue company is built on love, community, and helping stray animals find new loving homes. Unfortunately, the nature of it can sometimes be expensive.
