Camillus has been providing humanitarian services to persons who are poor and homeless in Miami since 1960 when it was established to serve Cuban exiles during its humble beginning as a small soup kitchen. Now, as the largest service provider for the homeless in South Florida, Camillus has grown into a full-service organization offering a comprehensive system of care including food, clothing, emergency, transitional and permanent housing, physical and mental health care and substance abuse treatment.

As newcomers to the local Miami community, we recognize the importance of getting involved and making a positive impact from the outset, and so, our chosen office charity for 2024, is one that not only aligns with our office's collective enthusiasm but also serves a vital purpose within our community.

Our goal is clear: to extend a helping hand to those in need, providing not just food and shelter, but also essential services like clothing, job training, counseling, medical assistance, and other resources to help rebuild lives.

But our efforts won't stop at fundraising. We're dedicated to rolling up our sleeves and actively engaging with our community. Throughout the year, we'll volunteer our time 1-2 times, whether it's serving meals, hosting food drives, teaching skills, or organizing events.
