Light It Up for Lou: Support Camp Kesem
“Light It Up for Lou” Fundraiser Benefiting Camp Kesem
This November 8th marks a year since we lost Lou to his brave fight with leukemia. To honor his legacy and the many lives impacted by cancer, we are hosting Light It Up for Lou, with proceeds benefiting Camp Kesem, a life-changing organization dedicated to supporting children who are affected by a parent’s cancer diagnosis.
Across the U.S., 5 million children are at risk of experiencing increased anxiety, emotional isolation, loss of social interest, and feelings of hopelessness when their parent is diagnosed with or lost to cancer. And that’s why, at Camp Kesem, we are committed to creating a world where every child facing these unimaginable challenges is never alone. Kesem offers free, fun-filled, creative programs and provides a lasting community for these children, helping them navigate through and beyond their parent’s cancer journey.
Event Details:
Date: November 8, 2024
Time: 7:30-10:00 pm
Location: Lake Royale Pavillion
Join us as we light up the night in Lou’s honor with candles, live music, and special moments of reflection. By coming together, we can help provide Kesem’s crucial support to children who need it most. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping Kesem provide free camps and resources to these families.
How You Can Help:
• Attend the event and bring your friends and family.
• Donate to Camp Kesem in Lou’s name if you can’t join us in person.
• Share this event to spread the word and raise awareness for this important cause.
Let’s come together to celebrate Lou’s life and make a difference for the children and families who need it. Light It Up for Lou, because no child should have to face their parent’s cancer alone.
