America’s wild horses are under siege as well as all wildlife as we know it on our public lands. Become a “Steward of the Land” and join the movement to REWILD.
Rewilding is an effort to restore ecological relationships among the diversity of native species, to leave our environment better than how we’ve found it.
Together, with your help, we can stop climate breakdown.
Certain animals provide opportunities for thousands of others and are known as a “keystone species.” The wild horse in North America is one of them.
Science has shown that wild horses are an integral component to the natural system and they should roam free on the public rangelands. Our mission at
Rewilding America Now is to rewild horses to bring ecological balance to North American grasslands and capture carbon from our atmosphere.
By saving wild horses, it saves all of us.
This organization has been a leader in the wild horse advocacy space for 15 years, and recently, we have broadened our vision – to “rewild” horses across our grasslands with projects in North Dakota, Standing Rock Reservation, and Eastern Idaho.
Become a Steward of the Land by making a monthly pledge and receive exclusive media, educational resources, and news about rewilding. Your donation goes directly to support:
- Herd management and the study of herd behavior.
- Transport of wild horses to protected lands.
- Veterinary care for horses.
- Scientific monitoring and analysis of soil and wildlife.
- Educational programming on sustainable rangeland practices based on Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK).
- The production of art and documentary films.
