Florida Residents: Help College Students with Cancer Thrive
CancerCollegeAlliance Inc (CCA) was founded in 2024 by Natalya Green. After being diagnosed in her university clinic with breast cancer, she looked to her university for support but discovered that they were just as unprepared as her. After late nights online, she quickly realized that despite the growing number of cancer cases among young adults, resources and data were limited, especially for those within the higher education community.
A cancer diagnosis is challenging for anyone, but for college students who are undergoing a variety of social changes, a diagnosis stops their world. Not every diagnosed student has support.
CCA is accepting donations to create health and education scholarships for college students with cancer, hold CCA events and initiatives, and maintain our organizational structure.
The main focus of donations is to create scholarships for college students, undergraduate and graduate, with cancer. Applications for scholarships will open on May 1, and scholarships will be distributed at the beginning of the Fall. The remaining donations will be used to host virtual events, which may include giveaways, promote outreach on college campuses, and maintain CCA functionality, including organizational management and helping us become a nationwide support system.
Please help us help others by offering #degreesofsupport!
*Only Florida residents may donate.
