About The Caroline Gilbert Hinchee House Restoration, Maintenance and Management Project 501 c3 Non Profit
The purpose of the Caroline Gilbert Hinchee House Restoration Project is to provide education in Historic Preservation and Charitable Community Service. By restoring and maintaining the Historic Hinchee House, the history and culture of the House and surrounding neighborhood will be maintained and taught to future generations.Working with Veterans will provide a service to veterans and the community through networking opportunities and teaching the trades involved with historic restoration. The House will also serve youth education programs as a location for “hands-on” learning in the house and on the grounds. The completed project will also be able to serve for Special Events, which provide a much needed economic boost to Beaumont’s HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) Zone 3.
