Funding a Mobile Barbershop for the Homeless
At Counter Culture Mobile Barbershop, our non-profit organization is driven by a dual mission. Firstly, we are dedicated to providing free haircuts to homeless individuals, recognizing that a simple act of grooming can restore dignity and foster a sense of self-worth. We believe that every person, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to look and feel their best.
Secondly, we operate as a Christian-based ministry, utilizing our mobile barbershop as a platform to support individuals facing challenges such as addiction, ex-conviction, or a troubled past. Through compassionate outreach and a non-judgmental environment, we aim to inspire transformative journeys of recovery and personal growth.
As a non-profit business, our purpose goes beyond profitability. We exist to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve, fostering a culture of hope, restoration, and empowerment. By bridging the gap between grooming and ministry, we strive to create lasting change and provide individuals with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
Join us in embracing a Counter Culture of compassion and renewal, where every person is valued, every story matters, and where the spirit of giving back drives our purpose. Together, we can create positive change and make a tangible difference in the lives of the marginalized and underserved communities we are privileged to serve.
This is an updated version of our fundraising campaign. The original campaign was created on a Personal GoFundMe page and needed to be changed to a Charity-Based one.
We want to thank our original donors who help contribute within the first few days on our first campaign.
