Join Us in Celebrating Black History Month with a Purpose!

Intelsat is proud to announce a special fundraiser in honor of Black History Month, dedicated to supporting the vital work of the Center for Black Equity. This remarkable intersectional charity is committed to improving the lives of Black LGBTQ+ individuals around the world.

Our fundraising event is a collaborative effort between two of our esteemed Employee Resource Groups: PRIDE@Intelsat and BE @Intelsat. Together, we aim to amplify the voices and experiences of the Black LGBTQ+ community around the globe and make a meaningful impact through our contributions.

Join us in this important cause and help us make a difference. Your support will enable the Center for Black Equity to continue their essential work in advocating for equality, providing resources, and fostering a more inclusive world. Learn More about the Center for Black Equity

This fundraiser will be open throughout the month of February 2025 and will close on March 1st 2025.

How to Donate: Please donate using this GoFundMe portal - this will send all the money raised by Team Intelsat to the Center for Black Equity. GoFundMe also allows for donations from non-US participants.

In honor of the countless lives affected by the both long and recent histories of racial and homophobic violence, we are starting a campaign to support the Center for Black Equity.

The Center for Black Equity's mission is to promote a multinational LGBTQ network dedicated to improving health and wellness opportunities, economic empowerment, and equal rights while promoting individual and collective work, responsibility, and self-determination. As proud LGBTQ supporters and believers in antiracist education, we want to help uplift these lives and amplify the voices of the black, LGBTQ community.

Right now is the perfect time to stop and support the most marginalized voices in our society. Those in the black and LGBTQ communities face daily the intersection of hate fueled by both race and homophobia, so please help us deliver both support and justice.
