Chabad of Bushwick Stronger Than Hate Campaign
More than 10 years ago, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Heller and their family moved to Bushwick and established a Chabad House to serve the growing Jewish community. Chabad of Bushwick is a warm and welcoming home for Jews of all backgrounds and serves the community with love and selflessness.
Two weeks ago, vandals attacked the Chabad house and shattered the front window when the Heller's and their guests were enjoying the Friday night meal, miraculously, nobody was hurt.
Recently, there has been an increase in anti-semitic attacks in our community and we must not let that deter us, rather we must show those who attempt to harm us that we will not be intimidated and in turn, we will continue to strengthen our community and its values.
A campaign was set up to help Chabad of Bushwick repair the damage and to increase in its activities and spread its message of love and tolerance to counter those of hate. Please help Chabad of Bushwick by donating generously today!
