Charlotte Rescue Mission

Hey everyone! This is Julia and Sam Tabbit, sister and brother of Michael Tabbit, who recently lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident.
We wanted to set up this GoFundMe account to help people who struggle with mental health, like our brother did. For those of you who don't know, our brother struggled throughout his life with addiction and mental health issues. Because of his recent passing, we are hoping to help others who may struggle similarly, the way Michael did.
We found an amazing non-profit organization that helps people who are like Mike, create a better path in life.
Our whole family would appreciate greatly if you and anyone you know could help us by donating to our cause. Every penny will be going to helping kids like our brother, and hopefully will save a life.
We love and miss our brother so much, but with this tragedy, we are hoping to create some light.

Laps for Love is a swim event held in support of Charlotte Rescue Mission and their work in addiction recovery.

Our goal is to raise $40,000 by the end of our event on September 10th. Because our sponsors cover the costs of the event, 100% of the donations collected go directly to the Charlotte Rescue Mission!
