I'm running to support our homeless friends!
Hi everyone!
I'm excited to be running the Chicago Marathon in October 2025 to help raise funds and awareness for the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness (CCH).
The CCH is a nonprofit dedicated to eradicating homelessness through outreach, advocacy and legal assistance, while tackling systemic challenges such as racial inequity and barriers to reentry.
Running and homelessness are both topics that have been close to my heart for many years. Back during undergrad in Singapore, I volunteered with a group of friends to befriend and provide aid to rough sleepers in our community. Since moving to Chicago, I've witnessed how widespread the issue is here, and feel even more motivated to fight for this cause. Being able to make a difference while also pursuing a sport that I love (and a bucket list goal of running the marathon in this amazing city) means all the more to me.
I would be so grateful if you'd consider leaving a donation—no matter the size, every contribution helps us move closer to a world where everyone has a place to call home.
