Want to join me in making a difference? I am raising money for Geneva faculty and students to travel to Child Legacy International, Inc.  in Malawi, Africa this summer. Our mission is to help people in the church there to play instruments so they can reach more people in Malawi to know Jesus.

The mission of Child Legacy International, Inc. is to break the cycle of poverty in rural Africa by building sustainable communities where hope thrives and legacies of opportunity are created.

CHILD LEGACY INTERNATIONAL Scholarships for Education

While overseas volunteering for Texas based Child Legacy International Hospital in Malawi,  several Texans discovered a young 17 year old boy with connections to CLI, that had taught himself to play piano by watching small iPhone videos in a remote village. This self taught musician plays for his small village church and dreams of coming to America to attend a music school. Several music camps in the US  have been approached and he now has a scholarship for a July 2019 summer program at a prestigious jazz festival on the east coast.   This fund hopes to provide travel dollars and food for himself and a chaperone for this most incredible journey he hopes to take.

Patrick was discovered in the rural town of Msundwe in Malawi Africa...where there is a very special place that has been carved from the earth.  A model of healthcare for  Sub-Saharan Africa has been created and thriving for almost a decade by Child Legacy International. It's website explains all of the progress made for women and children in this rural part of the country.  See the link to understand who is helping this young man move forward with his musical skills.
