WHY? In Memory of Alex Lipstein
His eyes sparkled, his laughter filled the room, his life will forever impact those who were lucky to be a part of this little boy's character. Alex was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor on Mother's Day weekend 2006 and lost his battle to the monster disease 6 months after diagnosis on November 7th.
I surrender to the mystery of our loss but not without the wisdom from his fearless fight! In August 2015, I am cycling from Tampa to New York City where Alex's mother moved shortly after his passing. Every mile from Tampa to New York City will be in memory of this little boy who changed my life! His fearlessness taught me to live a healthy life and to enjoy every moment of the journey. Life is fast...Slow down!

Story is at the heart of all our experiences. If you want to change your life you have to change your story. What is your story? Is it hurting or helping you? Are you sticking to it? The truth is, your story is the reason you are stuck! Your mindset, beliefs, values and worldview directly impact your level of action or inaction.
It took me over 40 years to realize my story was keeping me “stuck in suck” - the comfort zone of life. I was living to survive and found myself slipping slowly away from the person I wanted to become. My spiritual journey has been guided by unique “conincidences” and I believe that God has unveiled my purpose through some of life’s most tragic personal circumstances. I feel passionately that my loud voice, fearless independence, and drive to inspire healthy, prosperous living is my true gift. I know that my fear of being judged, criticized and rejected can only be conquered by boldness.
Project Fear Is HORSEPLAY is all about my faithful mission to transform a ‘stuck in suck’ mentality and inspire the desire for healthy and prosperous living. Fear Is Horseplay was written in memory of Alex and inspires the desire to take action!
So follow me this way….I will share the intimate details of my cycling journey to New York City from Tampa, provoke conversation, inspire you to change, recommend books, write articles, share articles and promote anything that will end the trend of sick and tired Americans!
