Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation

Stranded Sports and Where's The News? are teaming up for a great cause on November 10th: The Pittsburgh Children's Hospital Foundation. Nick, a host on both shows, will be seven years cancer free on November 6th. To celebrate this occasion, both podcasts are livestreaming for three hours to raise money for this great cause for a second consecutive year. Last year, the goal of $500 was met. With two shows now participating in this great cause, we have doubled our goal to $1000.

6YCLE is hosting our first inaugural THON where on December 14th we keep our wheels turning from 12AM-6AM to raise money for the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. This money will directly impact the hospitals research, patient care and wellness. During the holidays it is especially important to remember we were given two hands; one to help ourselves and one to help others.

We have something special planned for the #35 car for my home F4 race weekend in Pittsburgh - August 4th-5th. Local artist Callahan Malone has worked with the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to create a livery for the car based on the children's art work. The original canvas used, as well as a second, larger piece will be auctioned off at a hospital benefit following the race weekend. 

In addition to the money raised from the auction, I will be donating $100 for each position gained during the 3 races of the weekend. Should I be fortunate enough to finally get in the points with a top 10 finish, then I will donate $200 per point scored. Gateway Financial and YorkBridge Wealth Partners have also agreed to match a portion of my donations based on the above criteria. 

This gofundme is an opportunity for others to give to the hospital and ride along with me in spirit as we hopefully overtake a lot of cars and donate some money to a great cause.
