CAPA of Howard County

We are asking for your help to support the first responders in Howard County who are on the front line during COVID-19 crisis.

Chinese American Parent Association of Howard County (www.capa-hc.org ), along with Grace Chinese Christian Church, League of Korean Americans (LoKA), Indian Origin Network of Howard County (ION), HoCo Families for Education Improvement (FEI), Howard County Korean American Parents Association (HCKAPA),  Howard County Chinese School (HCCS) and Peiying Chinese School are leading the effort to raise money to provide the first responders any support we can.

The following two messages are from Police Department Chief Lisa Myers

“Thank you so much!  We are blessed to have such dedicated workers in Howard County!   It is amazing that your group was able to coordinate such a meaningful donation to the hospital. I know the staff will greatly appreciate the gesture during this challenging time! The police department is in great need of hand sanitizer, masks, and gloves and will welcome any donations. Thank you so much for thinking of us and for your generous support of our first responder/medical community!  We are truly blessed.”

“Any supplies are welcome but preference would be:
Small individual hand sanitizers
N95 masks preferred but surgical masks can also be used
Exam gloves (M/L/XL)
Thank you again for thinking of the members of HCPD.  I am humbled and forever grateful for your efforts!”

Donations of any amount would be of great help in this critical time. We sincerely appreciate your support! We are all in this together and we will go through this crisis safely together!
