CHOC Foundation

As empowered Taekwondo students of Master Lee’s Talium, we wish to serve as advocates for the wellbeing of our community. For 9 consecutive years, we've raised a total of more than $100,000 for CHOC through our HealthKick event. We're proud to be able to reintroduce the HealthKick event in order to help our local children's hospital.

The activities we're planning for HealthKick include: A 100 mile run/walk challenge for children, a bazaar featuring food and donated goods, games including a board-break-a-thon, a Taekwondo demonstration for spectator donations, and other fun events.

Talium Healthkick 2024

Hello, my name is Mark Pircher, and I truly appreciate the time you’re taking to read my story. I’ve been working out at LA Fitness for nine months and recently completed a five day check in challenge. I thoroughly enjoy working out and recently got a good push, pull, leg split going thanks to a few of my friends.

Starting Monday, September 23, 2024, and lasting through Wednesday, October 23, 2024, I’ll be doing a 31-day fitness challenge. I’m doing this challenge for my family and friends that mean the world to me and to raise money for CHOC Foundation. Raising money for CHOC Foundation is very special to me because for five years, I volunteered at Boot Hill, the famous haunted house that used to be in Irvine. The money that was raised at Boot Hill also went to CHOC Foundation.

Hello! We’re the Sweet Hearts Club, a group of students dedicated to hosting bake sales to raise funds and make a meaningful impact on child care in hospitals we support. We believe that a little sweetness can go a long way. Through our bake sales, we aim to bring joy and support to children in need by raising money for children’s hospitals. Our mission is to enhance the care and comfort of young patients, one treat at a time. And we’re doughing it from the heart!
