Let's help the Lithang Monastery in Tibet complete the 36-foot Buddha Maitreya Statue in the Main Monastery Temple of Lithang!
$120,000 has already been raised to purchase the statue. A wonderful beginning!
We are now asking for your help towards the final amount of $25,000 so that the statue can be plated in gold.
This gold plating is an integral part of the completion of the statue project, and is needed to radiate its transmission and blessing from the living incarnation of Buddha Maitreya the Christ to the Monastery, its nearby communities, the Tibetan region, and to all of humanity awakening the light of the Soul – Buddha Nature.
The choice of statue was clear as the Lithang Tulku expressed:
“This is Buddha Maitreya’s monastery so we should have the actual Buddha Maitreya’s statue since you are the reincarnated Buddha Maitreya.”
Lithang Tulku Rinpoche's brother Nyima shared that after the Rinpoche's passing on January 5, 2024 and Jesus' subsequent being unable to teach, the monastery is concerned about Buddha Maitreya's health. Nyima shared that 12 years ago Lithang Tulku Rinpoche had told the Khenpo [Sangha] that he only had 12 years, and that they must complete a statue for Guru Rinpoche within that time.
Khenpo didn't understand at the time and is worried...as although the statue has been started and is now placed in the main Temple, it still is not completed as it has not been gold-plated, and Nyima doesn't know if that is affecting Buddha Maitreya's health.

“When Buddha comes to Earth his process is that he brings Heaven to Earth, he awakens humanity and ascends them into the joy of reincarnation in Heaven, ending their cycle of incarnating in hell and going to hell when they die.
The history of the world is that humanity has destroyed all the Temples and left them abandoned, that is why hell exists on Earth. Humanity needs to get back in alignment to the relationship of Temple building and living in a Temple. Slowly but surely the Monasteries will continue to be built and their virtue will attract people to be a part of Monastic life and end the relationship of hell on Earth. No one can be a bystander… People have to build Monasteries in the reality that they are going to re-live again, so they can change that concept of life and get to know God”
