Citizens of the World, Inc.
Thank you for your interest in Citizens of the World Inc. We are a 501 C 3 non-profit agency that provides supplemental education and recreation experiences for youth and families throughout Massachusetts. We have been providing programs since 2010 and incorporated in 2015.
Our first HBCU Northeast Tour took place in April 2022 as we visited 6 Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the Northeast. Our journey took us from Cambridge and Springfield, Ma to Pennsylvania where we visited Cheyney and Lincoln Universities. From Pennsylvania, we traveled to Baltimore, MD, and toured Morgan and Coppin State Universities. We visited The Great Black in Wax Museum in Baltimore, Bowie State and Howard Universities before returning home. Watch the video recap here: HBCU Tour
Our second tour took 30 students from Cambridge Rindge and Latin, Matignon High School, Malden Catholic, Community Charter School of Cambridge, Springfield Central, Andover High School, Boston College High School, Putnam Vocational Tech, Phoenix Charter Academy, Hampden Charter School, Fenway High School and The Woodward School, to visit 8 HBCU as far away as Atlanta.
We toured Delaware State, Hampton University, Fayetteville State, Clark Atlanta, Morris Brown, Morehouse and Spelman and Howard University.
Our third tour is now history. We travelled with 44 students to: Cheyney University, Delaware State, Virginia State, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Howard University.

We are now actively seeking donations to support our 4th HBCU Tour. With your support we will fly from Boston to Atlanta and charter a bus to tour schools in: Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and New Orleans. We are also hoping to visit The Legacy Museum in Alabama.
Please consider donating, your contribution will assist students in need of financial assistance. Although families pay for students to attend the tour, we seek additional support to limit financial barriers for interested students.
Please donate any amount that you are comfortable with. Every little bit helps.
Check out our Blog for some of the previous work we've done. However, the best is yet to come!
