Honor Alan Campbell: Support Club 24's Future
Alan Campbell, President of Club 24.
21 years of sobriety and lots of dedication to his peers in assisting in recovery. He truly cared with his whole heart about the well-being of Club 24. It’s a place that helped him get clean from drugs and alcohol, a place to share stories and experiences, a place to play cards, shoot pool, and enjoy the friends he made. In his words, “Every great thing I have today is a byproduct of getting sober,” and that includes many thriving relationships along with amends made to many. Club 24 is a non-profit organization that has a small membership fee, which, as you can imagine, is hard to keep afloat. When he took the title of president, his goal was to relieve them of debt and make improvements to the building any way he could to attract more people and gain more members. He did just that, raising money and making substantial improvements around the building to make everyone feel at home and have an efficiently run building. In his passing, he will donate $10,000 to Club 24. This fund is made in hope that we can match his donation.
Please consider carrying on his wishes of making Club 24 a beautiful, safe space for so many looking to change their lives for the better. Thank you!
